![]() Good afternoon! I'm Samuel Langborgh and this is the story of the Langborgh Family's second annual hunt for the perfect pumpkin. This year not only did I have the pressure of trying to find the most perfectly-round, orangy-orange, fun-stemmed pumpkin I also had to show my sister, Maggie, the ropes. She slowed me down a little bit, but working together I think we achieved our goal. You be the judge. Oh, and in case you missed last year's adventure, click here, then come back to read this year's story. Both stories are quite thrilling, I assure you. |
![]() It all started here, at Krops Crops in Great Falls, Virginia. Here I am shown amongst some of the giants of the farm. Now you may be chompin' at the bit thinking, "Oh Wow! What huge pumpkins...I bet that's what they picked." Well, I hate to break it to you. The folks are afraid of giant pumpkins. Well, they say they aren't, but why else wouldn't they buy this guy right here. He's great! |
![]() So, I hollar for my little sister Maggie and we are off on the hunt. But, of course, she's a little stinker and hiding from me. I'm gonna go check the goat pen. |
